Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav’s Message on 2153rd Gyaplo Losar
Kathmandu – Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav expressed his belief that Gyaplo Losar will inspire the country to move forward on the path of prosperity.
On the occasion of the 2153rd Gyaplo Losar, he extended his greetings to everyone and emphasized that the festival, as a symbol of religious devotion, social harmony, cultural pride, and national unity, should guide the country toward progress, peace, and prosperity.
In his message, he stated, “With traditional attire, indigenous dances, devotional songs, and cultural programs, this festival keeps our diverse society vibrant. Gyaplo Losar is not just a festival of the Sherpa community but a shared cultural heritage of all Nepalis, which respects multiple languages and cultures and helps strengthen national unity.”
He also highlighted that the Syabru dance, the sweet tunes of Tungna (Damyang), and collective celebrations should make Gyaplo Losar even more meaningful. Celebrated as a New Year, the festival carries new hope, energy, and joy, and he believes it will help strengthen love, brotherhood, harmony, and unity within society.
Vice President Yadav mentioned that the festival will further deepen relationships among family, friends, and communities, creating an environment of cooperation and understanding.
