Rabi Lamichhane departs for Bhairahawa by road due to adverse weather

Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has set off for Bhairahawa via road. After the weather in Bhairahawa failed to improve, Rabi—who had initially planned to travel by plane—departed for the destination by road instead.

He is heading to Rupandehi to complete the release process. Due to adverse weather preventing a direct flight, he first flew to Bharatpur. From there, he departed for Rupandehi by vehicle via the land route a short while ago.

On Thursday, a bench of judges Basudev Acharya and Tej Narayan Paudel of the High Court Butwal ordered his release from custody. The court has ordered his release with specific conditions.
