Rising Public Support for Prem Bahadur Ale in Kailali-5 as Election Fever Grips the Region
Dhangadhi, February 27
As the polling date for the upcoming election approaches, a surge of public support is becoming visible for CPN candidate and former minister Prem Bahadur Ale in Kailali Constituency No. 5. The election atmosphere has intensified with significant public participation in door-to-door campaigns, corner meetings, public dialogues, and neighborhood interactions.
Over the past few weeks, candidate Ale has been conducting extensive meeting programs across various wards of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City and rural settlements. The campaign team reports enthusiastic participation from local residents in the door-to-door campaigns that run from morning until evening. Notably, a dense presence of youth, women, senior citizens, Dalit, Tharu, and Hill community voters has been observed in these programs.
According to local residents, during his previous tenure as a minister, Ale took significant initiatives in road upgrades, bridge construction, drinking water expansion, school building construction, and the strengthening of health posts within his constituency.
"The impact of development work is directly visible in our villages and settlements," said Prakash Majhi, a local youth. "Everyone wishes to see him win this time as well to complete the unfinished projects."
Voters in Kailali-5 have put forward job creation, agricultural modernization, promotion of small and medium enterprises, tourism development, and the expansion of skill-based training as their main agendas. Candidate Ale has expressed his commitment to moving forward with long-term development plans by keeping these issues as his priority. He stated that he aims to link local production with the market, inspire youth toward self-employment, and bring targeted programs for underprivileged communities.
Speaking at election rallies, Ale mentioned that the people's trust is his greatest strength. "The support and backing of the people have made me more responsible," he said. "My commitment to developing Kailali-5 as a prosperous, educated, and employment-oriented region will remain constant." He reiterated his promise to work with transparency, good governance, and social justice at the core.
Political analysts suggest that while the competition in Kailali-5 appears interesting this time, the level of public participation and electoral activity indicates a strengthening momentum in Ale's favor. His supporters are running active campaigns on social media, while youth have mobilized as volunteers for publicity efforts.
Meanwhile, opposition parties have also intensified the electoral race by unveiling their respective agendas. However, based on the local crowds, public support, and enthusiasm, observers have begun to speculate that there could be a significant margin in the upcoming election.
As voting day nears, election activities in Kailali-5 have reached a peak. Voters are preparing to make their decisions based on development, stability, and leadership capability. In this context, there is growing curiosity regarding how the relationship between Prem Bahadur Ale's confidence and the public support will shape the final election results.
