Lumbini Province Assembly Meeting Today
Kathmandu. The 10th meeting of the seventh session of the Lumbini Province Assembly is scheduled to be held at 11:00 AM today. Preparations have been made to finalize important bills in the meeting taking place this Friday. According to the Province Assembly Secretariat, members will take special time during the session to express their views on contemporary issues.
The main agenda of the meeting includes a session where the Minister for Industry, Tourism, and Transport, Prachanda Bikram Neupane, will respond to questions raised during the theoretical discussion on the 'Lumbini Academy of Fine Arts and Literature Bill'.
Similarly, Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya is scheduled to present a proposal for the passage of the 'Lumbini Research and Training Institute' bill. The passage of this bill is expected to establish a new structure for research, policy-making, and human resource development in the province. Today's meeting is being viewed as a significant step regarding policy-making and institutional development at the provincial level.
