Prime Minister's Best Wishes on Maghi and Makar Sankranti
Kathmandu, January 15: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed her best wishes that the festivals of Maghi and Makar Sankranti provide inspiration to everyone to unite and move forward towards peace, stability, and prosperity.
Prime Minister Karki today expressed her heartfelt greetings to all Nepali sisters and brothers living at home and abroad, stating that there is a need for even greater unity, harmony, and mutual trust among us.
"Today, January 15, is Maghi, Makar Sankranti, Maghe Sakarati; although the names are different, the soul is the same," says the message issued by Prime Minister Karki on the social media platform Facebook. "It is a festival that strengthens the spirit of love, harmony, tolerance, and unity among us Nepalis."
