Prime Minister Sushila Karki to Address the Nation Today

Kathmandu — Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to address the nation today. According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, a Cabinet meeting will be held at 4 PM, followed by the Prime Minister’s national address at 6 PM.

This will be Karki’s first address to the nation since assuming office as the head of the interim government formed in the aftermath of the ‘Gen-Z’ movement.

Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki was appointed as Prime Minister on September 12. The interim government was formed on the foundation of the Gen-Z movement that took place on September 8 and 9.

The interim government led by Prime Minister Karki has already dissolved the House of Representatives and announced elections for March 5.
