The Glory of Mother and Motherland is Higher Than Heaven: Prime Minister

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah has expressed respect, honor, and best wishes to all mothers on the occasion of Matatirtha Aunsi, also known as Mother's Day. On Friday, through social media, Prime Minister Shah quoted the Sanskrit verse 'Janani Janmabhumishcha Swargadapi Gariyasi' and mentioned that the glory of the mother and the motherland is higher than heaven.

He said, "A mother's lap is warm, and her feet are as holy as a pilgrimage site. On this holy occasion of Matatirtha Aunsi, I express my heartfelt respect, gratitude, and salutations to all mothers, the source of creation, who remain an incomparable example of love and sacrifice. I wish for the long life of all mothers."

He said, "On 'Mother's Day,' the first teacher of life and the source of eternal affection, I wish for the always bright face of all mothers and Mother Nepal.
