Minister of Drinking Water, Pradeep Yadav, Resigns
Kathmandu, September 9 : Minister of Drinking Water, Pradeep Yadav, has resigned from his ministerial post today.
Following the incident during the Gen-Z protests on Monday, in which 19 young people lost their lives, Minister Yadav decided that it was no longer appropriate to remain in the government, his personal secretariat stated.
Supporting the protest carried out by the Gen-Z youth yesterday and opposing the suppression by the government and administration, I hereby announce my resignation from the position of Minister of Drinking Water, Minister Yadav informed via social media.
“Dear young brothers and sisters, you are my foremost supporters and the source of my energy and enthusiasm. I appeal to everyone to exercise restraint, guide the youth in the right direction, and provide them support,” he wrote.
