Pradeep Gyawali's Emotional Appeal: Vote for Oli's Panel
Pradeep Gyawali, the UML leader who left the convention site emotionally on Monday, requested votes for K.P. Oli early this morning. Gyawali, who was emotional yesterday stating that Oli did not give him an opportunity, has now put forward the opinion that Comrade K.P. Sharma Oli's entire panel must be victorious.
Read the status update Gyawali wrote early this morning:
Dear delegate comrades of the Eleventh National General Convention!
Today is the most important and decisive moment of the General Convention: voting for the new leadership. I heartily appeal to the comrades to ensure a spectacular victory for the entire team led by Comrade K.P. Sharma Oli from this General Convention, which holds long-term significance not just for the internal life of the CPN (UML) but also for the challenging national politics.
I am always among the comrades and shall remain there. This time, I have submitted my candidacy for the position of Party Central Committee Member. I am confident of receiving both the heart and the vote from the comrades.
Thank you!
Yours, Pradeep Gyawali (Party Membership No. 513)
