'I have come with development to the place where I once came carrying a gun': Prachanda

Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), the coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, held a public meeting in Mayang, Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality-6.

During his meeting with the people, he recalled the struggles made during the People's War in the past and stated that this time he has come to the public with an agenda of development and prosperity.

"In the place where I once came carrying a gun for change, this time I have come among you with a candidate's ticket for development. Please make me victorious by casting your votes," he said.

He mentioned that building a sovereign and prosperous Nepal is the party's primary goal and stated that the people's cooperation and support are necessary for that.

"I have come to take new energy from the people of my base area with a vision to build a sovereign and prosperous Nepal," he said.

Local residents were present in significant numbers at the program to welcome Coordinator Prachanda. 

Participants expressed interest in issues regarding the development of their region, infrastructure expansion, job creation, and the strengthening of basic services.
