Former Minister Pokharel’s Book ‘Foundations of Communist Party Building’ to be Released

Kathmandu: The book ‘Foundations of Communist Party Building’ written by former minister and CPN-UML Politburo member Anand Prasad Pokharel will be released today.
The CPN-UML District Committee Kathmandu will organize a special program at the Tulsi Lal Memorial Foundation Hall in Chyasal. In the event, party General Secretary and Lumbini Province’s founding Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel will attend as the chief guest and the book will be unveiled by him.
The book will be reviewed by Deputy General Secretary and Head of the School Department, Pradeep Gyawali.
According to the author Anand Prasad Pokharel, the book will cover topics based on the Nepali leftist movement, organizational building, ideological development, democratic practices, and his personal experiences. He has said the book will reflect collective engagement, ideological cooperation, and dedication.
The book will present topics ranging from the foundations of building a communist party to ending feudal remnants and establishing the basis of socialism. It will also be dedicated to senior communist leaders who fought against autocratic monarchy, martyrs who sacrificed their lives in class struggle, visionary revolutionary warriors, and justice-loving citizens.
