PM Balendra Shah to Convene with Vice-Chancellors of Universities and Academies

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to hold a discussion with the Vice-Chancellors of universities and academies today. The meeting is set to take place at 12:00 PM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. 

Prime Minister Shah has called for the discussion with the Vice-Chancellors of eleven universities and seven academies where he serves as the Chancellor. It has been reported that the meeting will involve a detailed deliberation on contemporary issues facing these universities and academies, as well as potential solutions. Additionally, the discussion will focus on matters that can be resolved immediately.

Vice-Chancellors from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Purbanchal University, Pokhara University, and Lumbini Buddhist University will participate in the discussion. Similarly, Vice-Chancellors from Nepal Sanskrit University, Far-Western University, and Mid-Western University will also be in attendance.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to converse with the Vice-Chancellors of the Agriculture and Forestry University, Rajarshi Janak University, and Geta University of Health Sciences.

In addition to these, discussions will be held with the Vice-Chancellors of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), the National Academy of Medical Sciences, the Patan Academy of Health Sciences, and the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences. The Vice-Chancellors of the Karnali, Pokhara, and Rapti Academies of Health Sciences are also reported to be participating in the meeting.
