Newly Appointed Prime Minister Balen Shah Takes Oath
Kathmandu: The newly appointed Prime Minister Balen Shah has taken the oath of office and secrecy. The ceremony was held on Friday at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas, where President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath to Prime Minister Shah.
Following this, the ministers will also take their oaths. During the ceremony, 108 soldiers recited Swastik chants, 107 Buddhist Lama Gurus performed auspicious prayers, and 7 Brahmins blew conch shells, completing the oath-taking ceremony according to the Sanatan tradition.
