PM Oli Claims Record-High Export Growth via Social Media Post
Kathmandu, July 24 – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that Nepal has achieved a historic high in exports this fiscal year. Sharing the information through a post on his official Facebook page, PM Oli claimed that the country recorded exports worth Rs. 2.77 trillion (Rs. 2 kharba 77 arba 3 crore 2 lakh).
According to the Prime Minister, the figure marks a significant leap compared to the previous fiscal year, during which Nepal had exported goods worth Rs. 1.52 trillion (Rs. 1 kharba 52 arba 38 crore 12 lakh). This represents an 81.80% increase in exports year-on-year.
“We have been able to reach the highest point in export history,” PM Oli wrote, emphasizing the progress made since his party took office. He attributed the achievement to improved governance and economic planning under the current administration.
The announcement comes amidst growing public and political discussions about Nepal’s economic trajectory and trade balance.
