Performance Agreement Between Water Supply Minister Yadav and Secretary E. Bajracharya
Kathmandu, 3 Bhadra: Today, Water Supply Minister Pradeep Yadav and Secretary E. Pramiladevi Shakya Bajracharya exchanged a performance agreement for the fiscal year 2082/83.
In the ministry hall, Secretary Bajracharya handed over the performance agreement to Minister Yadav outlining the key tasks and expected achievements for the current fiscal year.
On the occasion, Minister Yadav instructed that the planned work for fiscal year 2082/83 be implemented quickly and effectively, and that the agreement signed today be followed with honesty.
Minister Yadav stated that the main objective of the agreement is to implement the programs under the Ministry of Water Supply, as outlined in the government’s policies and budget statement, according to the scheduled time, cost, and quality standards.
He added, “By strengthening the capacities of all three levels of government, special attention will be given to expanding safe drinking water and sanitation services in urban and rural areas, as well as the collection, treatment, and management of wastewater. Our goal is to ensure that all Nepalis have access to safe water and sanitation services by 2100 BS.”
Minister Yadav also cautioned against repeating the shortcomings of the previous fiscal year and directed the secretary, joint secretaries, and all departmental heads to work effectively in the current fiscal year.
Secretary E. Bajracharya expressed commitment to achieving the performance targets for the current fiscal year. Previously, Minister Yadav had signed a performance agreement with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
