Party Registration Deadline for General Elections

Today is the last day for political parties to register with the Election Commission to participate in the general election for the members of the House of Representatives. 

The deadline for political parties to register with the Election Commission to take part in the election, which is scheduled for Falgun 21, is ending today.

According to Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, there are a total of 134 parties registered with the commission, and among them, 80 parties had registered by Tuesday. 

Even political parties that were previously registered must register again to participate in the election, as per the Election Commission's provision. 

Accordingly, today is the final day for both party registration and renewal.
