Ujyalo Nepal Party and Rastriya Paribartan Party Merge for Elections
Kathmandu. Kulman Ghising, Chairman of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, has announced that his party has officially entered the electoral race. Speaking with journalists at Simara Airport, he shared that the Ujyalo Nepal Party and the Rastriya Paribartan Party have merged.
According to Chairman Ghising, following the merger, some proportional representation candidates from the Rastriya Paribartan Party have been included in the Ujyalo Nepal Party's proportional list.
He clarified that since the proportional candidates from both parties are listed under the Rastriya Paribartan Party's election symbol, the 'Flute' symbol will be used for the proportional ballot.
However, he noted that for the direct elections, the Ujyalo Nepal Party's own election symbol, the 'Bulb,' will remain in use. Chairman Ghising urged voters to cast their ballots for the 'Flute' symbol in the proportional category and the 'Bulb' symbol in the direct category.
He stated, "We have entered the election field. In this regard, we have merged with the Rastriya Paribartan Party. We have replaced some of our proportional candidates with theirs.
The Rastriya Paribartan Party's symbol is the 'Flute,' and since our proportional candidates are under that, I call on everyone to vote for the 'Flute' symbol in the proportional category.
For the direct election, the election symbol will be the 'Bulb.' I call on you to vote for the 'Bulb' symbol in the direct election."
