Two Parliamentary Committees to Meet Today
Kathmandu — Two parliamentary committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today (Friday). The meetings will be of the National Assembly’s Legislation Management Committee and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee.
The 154th meeting of the Legislation Management Committee will be held at 11:30 am in the committee meeting hall at Singha Durbar. According to the agenda, clause-by-clause deliberation on the Tourism Bill, 2081, will take place during the meeting.
Similarly, the 316th meeting of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee is scheduled for 11:30 am at the Federal Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar. The agenda includes discussions with stakeholders regarding landmines and explosive materials.
For this meeting, Chief of the Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel, Inspector General of Nepal Police Dan Bahadur Karki, and Armed Police Force Inspector General Raju Aryal have been invited.
