Aryal: UML General Convention Linked with Historic and National Responsibility

Kathmandu. Padma Aryal, Secretary of the CPN (UML), has stated that the upcoming CPN (UML) General Convention is a historical event connected with a national responsibility, and the party is aware of the need to conclude it in a disciplined, grand, and positive manner.

She informed that only four days remain until the 11th National General Convention of the CPN (UML) and stated that the UML is conscious of how to fulfill the responsibilities associated with the nation, the people, and the party.

She said, "The UML will be conscious of how to fulfill the historical national responsibilities of the National General Convention, the responsibilities associated with the party, the responsibilities associated with the people, and the responsibilities associated with the nation, the people, and the party. 

We are moving forward with the resolve to fulfill the national mandate. The General Convention must be concluded in a disciplined manner, grandly, and with a positive message."

She further mentioned that the political balance of the country has changed after the movement on Bhadra 23-24, and there are ample signs that Nepal's politics is getting trapped in a quagmire. She stated that this has created a situation that is pushing the country towards uncertainty and instability.

She said, "After the movement on Bhadra 23 and 24, the political balance of the country has changed. There are also ample signs that Nepal's politics is getting trapped in a quagmire. 

In a situation where Nepal's politics has been pushed toward an uncertain direction and instability, uncertainty and instability cannot serve the interests of the country and the people. 

Therefore, the UML party is conscious that this political uncertainty and instability should not be allowed to persist for too long, and it must be resolved as soon as possible."

She concluded by stating that the UML aims to fulfill its responsibilities towards the party, the people, and the nation, and to maintain political stability through the upcoming General Convention.
