UML Chairman Oli's Stern Warning to Ministers: Term is Short, 'Don't Wiggle Your Tongues Too Much'
K.P. Sharma Oli, the Chairman of the CPN (UML) and former Prime Minister, has issued a stern warning to the current government's ministers, advising them to speak and behave with restraint, stating that the government's tenure will not last much longer.
Addressing the party's 'Ghar Fark Rashtriya Abhiyan' (National Home-Coming Campaign) announcement program on Monday, Chairman Oli urged the government ministers 'not to wiggle their tongues too much' (meaning, not to talk excessively or recklessly).
Oli said in a satirical manner, "The term doesn't even have four months left, but the swagger is as if it will last as long as the sun and moon." Through this statement, he made a sharp remark about the government having a short lifespan while the ministers displayed unnecessary 'swagger' or 'arrogance'.
Expressing his dissatisfaction with the current government, he advised the ministers to present themselves as responsible and dignified.
