Oli Accuses RSP of Attempting to Disrupt Elections

Birtamod. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has stated that people are prepared to do anything for the protection and honor of their flag. Chairman Oli remarked that the act of burning a flag is not a trivial matter.

Addressing a regional cadre gathering for Constituency No. 3 in Bhadrapur, Jhapa, on Sunday, Oli described the flag as a center of ideals. Asserting that no one has the right to burn someone else's faith or belief, he called the actions of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) criminal.

Stating that the sun-marked flag is a symbol of the UML movement, he questioned who has the right to commit a crime against the reflection of that movement. He said, "Such insulting work is unacceptable."

Oli claimed that the RSP started undesirable activities in Damak from the very day of nominations. He alleged that the RSP has resorted to this level of behavior because they realize they cannot win the election. By burning the flag, the RSP has made its indecency clear. He added that the flag-burning incident in Dang clarified that the RSP has reached a state of attempting to disrupt the election.

During the cadre gathering in Jhapa Constituency No. 3, Chairman Oli welcomed hundreds of Gen Z youths into the UML. Deepak Budhathoki, Chairman of the National Youth Federation Bhadrapur, stated that the enthusiastic entry of Gen Z into the UML has provided additional energy.
