"Not a Condition, Come to UML for the Victory of the Nation and the Party": Yogesh Bhattarai

Kathmandu: CPN (UML) leader Yogesh Bhattarai has welcomed the leaders and cadres who are preparing to merge with the UML. Calling through social media, he emphasized that the merger with the UML is a matter of national importance and goes beyond the condition of accepting the party's policy and leadership.

Core Basis: Stating that the party chairman, general secretary, and everyone else have already called for the merger, he said that 'People's Multi-Party Democracy is the main foundation of the unity.

Policy and Leadership: Arguing that cooperation is impossible by rejecting the policy and leadership, he mentioned that the JaJa will be further refined through shared efforts.

He also stated that leadership selected through competition is the basis of their unity, and the constitutional practice of debating policy and leadership before the general convention is well-established.

Matter of Importance: While accepting or rejecting the "pre-condition to ensure the victory of a specific leader" is a matter of their conscience, he reiterated that joining the UML is a matter of importance that is above any condition.

Ultimate Goal: Stating that who wins or loses is secondary, he stressed that the 'cooperation must result in the victory of the Nation, the Nepali people, and the CPN (UML)'. He concluded by expressing his commitment to be 'ready to lose a thousand times' for this cause and extended his welcome.
