Nisha Dangi Claims RSP's Majority is a Result of Public Awakening
Kathmandu: Member of Parliament from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Nisha Dangi, has stated that the votes received by the RSP are not merely an arithmetic result but are born from a renaissance of public awareness.
Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, she mentioned that the nearly two-thirds majority achieved by the RSP is not an accidental event or the result of any artificial influence, but rather an expression of long-accumulated public dissatisfaction and an intense desire for change.
She said, "Today's House is not just a result of arithmetic; it is born from the renaissance of public awareness. The nearly two-thirds majority obtained by the RSP is not an accidental event or a play by AI. Instead, it is an expression of long-accumulated public dissatisfaction and an intense desire for change. Therefore, it is necessary to move forward while respecting the people's mandate."
Emphasizing the need to move forward responsibly while respecting the people's vote, she clarified that they have come to serve, not to rule.
Lawmaker Dangi urged all political parties to cooperate in the national interest, stating that while differences in ideology are natural, collaboration is indispensable. Expressing the view that there should be competition but not conflict, she said the time has come for politics to be result-oriented rather than focused on accusations and counter-accusations.
"We have come here to serve, not to rule. This spirit must guide every step and decision. I would like to humbly request all political parties—differences in ideology are natural. Cooperation in the national interest is mandatory. Let there be competition, but not conflict. The time has come for politics to deliver results rather than accusations. I also urge for healthy debate," she said.
