On the occasion of New Year 2083, Prime Minister Balendra Shah has expressed his best wishes. Writing a status via social media on Tuesday, Prime Minister Shah expressed heartiest wishes for happiness, peace, and prosperity to everyone on the auspicious occasion of the start of New Year 2083. 

He wrote: "May all be happy, may all be free from illness. May all see what is auspicious, may no one suffer. May happiness, health, and wellbeing prevail in all of our lives. May things always be auspicious, may there be no obstacles, and may sorrow be removed.
