Nepali Congress President Deuba, Wife Arzu Rana Heading to Singapore for Further Treatment Today

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba is set to travel to Singapore tonight at 9 PM for further medical treatment, accompanied by his wife, Arzu Rana.

The Deuba couple was reportedly assaulted on Bhadra 24 (the second day of the Gen Z movement) at their residence in Budhanilkantha. Following the attack, security personnel rescued the couple and took them to the Army Hospital in Chhauni for initial treatment.

Mr. Deuba sustained injuries, including 12 stitches on his head, and is heading to Singapore for follow-up care related to the incident.

The Nepali Congress President was last seen publicly at the central party office on Asoj 28, marking his first public appearance after the Gen Z protests.
