Nepali Congress Declares New Central Committee in Second Special Convention

The Nepali Congress officially declared the names of its newly elected Central Committee today following the party’s second special convention.

From the convention held in Kathmandu starting Sunday, Gagan Kumar Thapa has been elected as Party President, Vishwaprakash Sharma and Pushpa Bhusal as Vice Presidents, and Pradeep Paudel and Gururaj Ghimire as General Secretaries.

The election results were formally declared by the Chief of the Central Election Committee, Senior Advocate Sitaram KC. Congratulations are extended to the newly elected committee, who are expected to play an active role in strengthening the party’s organization and leading upcoming political activities.
