Nepali Congress Central Committee Meeting Today
Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress Central Committee meeting is scheduled to be held today (Thursday) at 2 PM at the party office in Sanepa.
The Central Working Committee meeting, which began on Ashoj 28, has not yet reached a conclusion as it is focused on the General Convention.
Consequently, the meeting has been repeatedly postponed. The meeting has been called again today to discuss the date of the General Convention and reach a further conclusion.
In the previous meeting held on Kartik 19, General Secretary Gagan Thapa had presented a schedule proposing the party's 15th General Convention be held from Poush 16 to 19.
In contrast, Joint General Secretary Mahendra Yadav presented a schedule proposing the General Convention be held from Baisakh 27 to 30, 2083 BS.
The process of giving suggestions for and against these two proposals is currently ongoing in the meeting.
