Nepali Congress Central Committee Meeting to be Held Today
The Central Working Committee meeting of the Nepali Congress, which has been postponed repeatedly, is set to convene today.
The meeting will take place at the party office in Sanepa at 2 PM on Monday afternoon, according to Krishna Prasad Poudel, the chief secretary of Congress.
The Central Working Committee meeting had been postponed multiple times due to a dispute within the Congress regarding whether to hold a regular or a special general convention (Mahadiveshan).
Acting President Khadka is preparing to hold informal discussions with all sides before today's scheduled meeting.
The Congress Central Working Committee meeting, which started on Ashoj 28, has been extended as a decision could not be reached on whether to hold a regular or special general convention.
