Nepali Congress Appointment and Committee Formation
KATHMANDU. The Nepali Congress, led by Gagan Thapa, has appointed Devraj Chalise as the party's spokesperson. The first meeting of the Central Committee held in Kupondole this Thursday appointed Chalise to the position.
Spokesperson Chalise informed that the meeting formed a manifesto drafting committee under the chairmanship of President Gagan Thapa.
He stated, "We have formed a manifesto committee under the chairmanship of the President to draft the party's manifesto while building a corrected Congress."
Additionally, he shared that an election mobilization committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma.
According to him, the Gagan-led Congress is visiting the Election Commission today to update the party's records.
