Nepali Communist Leader Bhim Rawal Accuses Oli Faction
Nepali Communist Party leader Bhim Rawal has accused the Oli faction of revoking his party membership, claiming they were fearful of his views. Writing a status update on the social networking site Facebook late on Wednesday, Rawal said:
“I repeatedly urged the UML (CPN-UML) to follow the path of national interest, rule of law, system, and the aspirations of the people. The Oli faction, which was fearful of such views of mine, arbitrarily revoked my party membership. The practice of a few individuals trying to cover up this truth is futile.”
He also stated that he was pleased to see certain party leaders repeatedly mentioning his name in the context of the UML General Convention.
