Courtesy Meeting Between Prime Minister Sushila Karki and Japanese Ambassador
Kathmandu,Decemer 5: Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Mr. Maeda Toru, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
The courtesy meeting was held today at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar to discuss various aspects concerning the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Nepal-Japan relations, as informed by the Prime Minister's Press Coordinator, Ram Bahadur Rawat.
On the occasion, His Excellency the Ambassador commended the government's resolve to hold elections on time and reiterated that the Japanese government is prepared to provide necessary assistance as requested by the government.
Prime Minister Karki thanked Japan for its continuous support in Nepal's development and various other sectors, expressing confidence that cooperation and goodwill will continue in the days to come.
