House of Representatives Candidate Nominations Today, Schedule Set for Parties
Kathmandu. Candidate nominations for the House of Representatives member election are scheduled to take place today. The time for filing nominations has been set from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, Magh 6.
The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer has designated separate time slots for political parties and independent candidates.
According to the schedule, the Rastriya Swatantra Party will file its nomination at 1:00 PM, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party at 2:00 PM, the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) at 2:30 PM, the Communist Party of Nepal at 3:00 PM, and the Nepali Congress at 4:00 PM.
The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer has decided to provide and inform political party representatives about all the details and necessary documents required to be submitted along with the nomination papers.
The meeting expressed a commitment to fully comply with the directives, guidelines, circulars, and the election code of conduct issued by the Election Commission, as well as prevailing laws.
Furthermore, all parties have committed to providing maximum support from their respective sides to conduct the House of Representatives member election, scheduled for Thursday, Falgun 21, in a clean, free, fair, and fearless environment.
