Nepali Communist Party Prepares for Election as Representative Assembly Polls Approach
Baglung: As the Representative Assembly election scheduled for March 5 (Falgun 21) approaches, the Nepali Communist Party in Baglung has started its internal preparations.
The Nepali Communist Party Galkot City Committee held a meeting after the party nominated leader Gyamnath Gaire 'Anil' as the candidate for Baglung Constituency No. 2.
In the meeting, speakers emphasized winning the upcoming March election—the first since the Gen-Z movement in September (Bhadra). They stressed that the party must work for the country’s growth and social justice.
Participants said that since the Nepali Communist Party is focused on social justice and good governance, everyone must work together to ensure Gyamnath Gaire Anil wins in Baglung-2.
Candidate Gaire spoke at the event, stating he is committed to doing his job well. He said the Nepali Communist Party aims to win a two-thirds majority to peacefully bring "Scientific Socialism" to Nepal. He asked for everyone's help and support.
The meeting also looked at the party’s work in the 11 wards of Galkot Municipality and discussed how the party has fought corruption.
The program was led by the Nepali Communist Party Galkot City Chairman, Ganga Bahadur Bhujel, and managed by Secretary Khim Sahani.
