Binod Chaudhary Claims Congress Under Gagan Thapa Will Transform Nepal’s Economy
Bardaghat, Nawalparasi. As the date of the general election approaches, the Nepali Congress has intensified its election campaign in Nawalparasi (West) Constituency No. 1. During a program organized at the House of Representatives Constituency No. 1 Election Campaign Committee office in Bardghat, Binod Chaudhary, a central member of the Congress and candidate for this constituency, claimed that the Congress, under the leadership of Gagan Thapa, will draft a clear blueprint for the country's development.
The program, held with the main slogan "Change Congress, Change the Country," saw a significant presence of General Convention delegates, district leadership, and party workers. Speakers expressed the view that victory is guaranteed if the Congress moves forward unitedly, pointing out that party unity is the primary need in the current situation.
Congress District Secretary Kuldeep Acharya mentioned that protecting party workers is equivalent to protecting votes, stating that it would not be difficult to ensure the victory of a globally recognized personality like Binod Chaudhary in his own constituency. "If we all work together, the result will be in our favor," he said.
Chaudhary, who is also a former Member of Parliament, was elected from this constituency in the 2079 B.S elections. He mentioned that the history of the Congress has been a witness to economic, social, and political transformation through revolution and movements, and stated that the time has come to transform that history into a roadmap for development.
"I never hold any prejudice in my mind. The path to development is paved by the Congress, and the Congress under Gagan Thapa's leadership will draw the line for the country's development," Chaudhary said. He claimed that the Congress has understood the sentiments and the essence of the movement of the younger generation, especially Gen Z, and clarified that maintaining good governance and ending corruption are the party's main agendas.
Leaders participating in the program sent a message that the Congress has entered the electoral battlefield in Nawalparasi Constituency No. 1 in a united manner, expressing their commitment to ensuring victory in the upcoming election.
