Nepali Congress Approves Election Mobilization Directive
The Nepali Congress has approved an election mobilization directive, deciding that everyone must be deployed from their respective official positions. A meeting of the Central Work Execution Committee held virtually today (Sunday) passed the directive.
Point number 21 of the directive states, "For the general elections on March 5 (Falgun 21), under the policy of 'wherever one's official responsibility lies, that is where they shall serve,' all party members will be deployed in the election field from February 13 to March 5 with the commitment 'My 21 Days for March 5'."
Furthermore, the directive mentions that representatives assigned to the federal, provincial, district, and house of representatives levels must return to and focus on their own districts, constituencies, municipalities, and wards after completing their assigned tasks.
The directive instructs all party officials and members of every level to remain focused on their respective areas, except for those who have gone elsewhere with specific assigned responsibilities.
"Active members of one ward should not go to another ward but should serve in their own wards with the slogan 'We will win our own ward'," the directive states. "Those associated with all fraternal and well-wisher organizations of the party shall fulfill their responsibilities accordingly."
The meeting passed the Nepali Congress House of Representatives Election Mobilization Directive-2025 and the Nepali Congress Public Program Management Directive-2025, presented by Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma. Vice President Sharma is the coordinator of the party's Central Election Mobilization Committee.
