Nepali Congress Calls Central Working Committee Meeting Amid Second Special General Convention

Kathmandu – In the midst of its second special general convention, the Nepali Congress has convened a meeting of the Central Working Committee today. The meeting is scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. at the party’s central office, BP Memorial Hall, Sanepa.

According to General Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, committee office-bearers, members, and the chairpersons of all seven provinces have been requested to attend.

The convening of the Central Working Committee meeting while the second special general convention is ongoing, led by senior leaders Gagan Thapa and Bishwprakash Sharma, is being viewed as politically significant.

The second special general convention, which began on Sunday at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu, is discussing party statute amendments, policies, leadership, and current political issues.

The Central Working Committee meeting, held during the convention, is expected to make important decisions regarding the convention’s agenda, future strategies, and strengthening the party organization.
