Nepali Congress Intensifies Election Campaign in Nawalparasi-1
Nawalparasi. The Nepali Congress has intensified its election activities in Nawalparasi Constituency No. 1 for the House of Representatives member election scheduled for March 5. The Nepali Congress has fielded Binod Chaudhary as its candidate in the region.
A gathering of leading cadres organized in Bardaghat on Monday inaugurated the regional office, aiming to include all levels and sectors of the constituency. Similarly, a 555-member 'Regional Election Campaign Committee' has been formed under the coordination of Regional President Mukul Acharya.
The committee has decided to strengthen internal party unity and make the 'door-to-door' campaign effective. Sub-committees will also be formed in every ward and settlement under the regional committee.
Candidate Binod Chaudhary is prepared to take the foundation he laid for the development of this region over the past three years, along with future plans, to the people.
"We are in the field not just to win the election, but for the economic transformation and prosperity of Nawalparasi. It is necessary for every worker to reach the doorsteps of the people, considering themselves as the candidate," said committee coordinator Acharya.
Leaders including Nepali Congress Central Member Radheshyam Pathak, Provincial Assembly Member Bishwaprem Pathak, Congress Acting President Bikram Yadav, Vice President Anil Gaun, and Secretaries Umesh Yadav and Kuldeep Acharya stated that it is a matter of pride for Nawalparasi to have a candidate like Binod Chaudhary.
Chaudhary, who was previously elected from this same constituency in the 2022 election, has entered the field this time with the goal of winning again by a heavy margin.
