Oli Instructs Deployment of 30 National Youth Volunteers per Booth
CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has stated that the election must be made peaceful and an environment must be created where voters can cast their ballots independently.
Speaking at a program organized in Damak, Jhapa, on Monday to announce the Koshi Province Command of the National Youth Volunteers, Chairman Oli said that the UML remains firm in its stance for peaceful elections and emphasized the need for an environment where voters can vote freely.
He warned against even imagining booth capture in the upcoming elections and directed the National Youth Volunteers force to work in a way that ensures 30 volunteers are stationed at every booth for the election.
Oli claimed that the UML is the only force capable of handling the country. He stated that elections cannot be won by creating chaos in the country, misleading citizens, or disrupting social harmony.
Oli expressed his view that he was removed from the government while he was accelerating the country's development. He argued that after his removal, the country became like a vehicle without a driver, and that he must return to government for the country to move forward.
He remarked that some individuals are going around declaring themselves as the future Prime Minister, noting that becoming Prime Minister seems to have become a trivial matter to them.
He stated that his party is moving forward with a vision and a clear plan and destination for a "Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali."
