Gyandendra Shahi Urges National Unity Over Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani Dispute
Kathmandu – Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Gyandendra Shahi has drawn attention to Nepal’s ongoing border challenges, particularly concerning Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani. In a Facebook post, Shahi expressed deep concern over the recent agreements between China and India that reportedly include these territories without Nepal’s consent.
Shahi emphasized that Nepal’s borders, defended by generations of ancestors against foreign invasions, are a matter of national pride. He warned that any decision undermining Nepal’s sovereignty and territorial integrity raises serious questions about the country’s national unity.
The RPP leader called on the Prime Minister to take immediate initiative by bringing together political parties, civil society leaders, various organizations, and the general public to create an environment of national consensus. Shahi stressed that only through collective action and national solidarity can Nepal protect its sovereignty and geographic integrity.
