National Thinking Confined to Short-Term Fixes: Rabindra Mishra

Kathmandu. Rabindra Mishra, Senior Vice President of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has expressed concern that after every crisis the country faces, the civil society and political sphere only seek short-term fixing to temporarily mitigate the problems.

Through his Facebook post, he stated that the capacity of a nation with such a shortsighted civil society and politics is limited to thinking only about immediate solutions and not beyond.

"A country with such a shortsighted civil society and politics seeks only short-term fixing after every crisis," Mishra wrote. "We don't have the capacity to think beyond that!"

He pointed out that even after such an unprecedented national crisis, the national mindset being limited to the 'servicing' of a vehicle is a matter of grave concern for the country and future generations.

"Even after such an unprecedented national crisis, our thinking is limited to a vehicle's 'servicing.' This is an extremely alarming issue for the country and future generations," he mentioned in the post.
