National Assembly Meeting Scheduled for Today

Kathmandu. A meeting of the National Assembly under the Federal Parliament is being held today, Friday. The meeting will take place at 1:00 PM in Singha Durbar. Preparations have been made to present various reports and discuss new bills during the session.

At the beginning of the meeting, Maya Prasad Sharma, Chairperson of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, will present a proposal to discuss the "Study Report on Policy Problems Related to National Parks, 2082."

Similarly, in today's meeting, Prime Minister and Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Sushila Karki, will present a proposal before the Assembly to withdraw the "Social Media Bill, 2081."

Additionally, in her capacity as the Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, she will also present a proposal to discuss the "National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081," along with the report from the Legislation Management Committee.
