National Assembly Meeting and Annual Report Presentation
Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to present the ‘Muslim Commission's Annual Report for the Fiscal Year 2080/81’ in today's meeting of the National Assembly. According to the Parliament Secretariat, the potential agenda includes the Prime Minister presenting the report in the meeting scheduled for 12:15 PM.
In the meeting, the Chairperson of the Legislation Management Committee, Tulsa Kumari Dahal, is scheduled to present the ‘Study Report on Legislative Inter-relationships between Federal Units, 2082’ and the ‘Implementation Measurement Report on Child Participation Provisions in the Children's Act, 2075, 2082’.
The Chairperson of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, Maya Prasad Sharma, will present a proposal titled ‘Discussion be held on the Study Report regarding the Immigration Act, 2049 and Delegated Legislation formed under the same Act, 2082’.
The agenda also includes National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal informing the house about the contents of a letter received from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers regarding the assignment of ministerial responsibilities.
Furthermore, Chairman Dahal will inform the assembly about the contents of the letter received from President Ram Chandra Paudel regarding the prorogation of the session.
In accordance with Article 93, Clause (3) of the Constitution, and upon the recommendation of the Council of Ministers dated Magh 26, the President has ended the current session of the National Assembly effective from 12:00 midnight tonight.
