Narayan Kaji Shrestha: NCP Remains the Main Shield Against Political Regression

Sarlahi. Senior leader of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) and former Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has stated that his party is the primary force responsible for protecting political changes and struggling against regression.

Shrestha mentioned that the historical role of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) is the reason political achievements remain secure today. He accused certain forces of attempting to weaken these changes, snatch away achievements, and impose regression.

According to him, the party is committed to defending the constitution, democracy, and the gains of political change while leading the country toward prosperity. Shrestha claimed that after the political transition, the NCP has worked to transform the country through socio-economic development and has campaigned for good governance and social justice.

Similarly, he stated that the party supports the issues raised by the younger generation, specifically the voices of 'Gen Z,' and has been opposing the suppression of youth.

He noted that the party's goal is to make the country prosperous by advancing the issues of good governance against corruption, the reform and transformation of political parties, political stability, and development.

Shrestha expressed confidence that if the facts and truths reach the people clearly, the public will further strengthen the NCP in its journey toward defending the constitution and democracy, as well as achieving development and prosperity.
