Ministry of Home Affairs Temporarily Relocated to Old Foreign Ministry Building

Kathmandu – Currently, the Ministry of Home Affairs is being moved to the old Foreign Ministry building.
During the Gen Z protesters’ demonstration on September 9 , the Ministry of Home Affairs was also destroyed in a fire at Singha Durbar.
Since the original building is no longer functional, the Ministry’s operations are being shifted to the old Foreign Ministry building. Cleaning and moving of office equipment are currently underway.
Om Prakash Aryal has been assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Home Affairs in the new interim government.
