Minister Yadav Emphasizes Crucial Role of Media in National Prosperity and Border Awareness

Birgunj (Parsa) : Minister for Drinking Water, Pradeep Yadav, has highlighted the vital role of media in promoting national prosperity, border security, and citizen awareness.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Nepal–India Cross-Border Media Conference 2025 in Birgunj, Minister Yadav noted that media personnel operating along the Nepal–India border play a key role in keeping citizens informed about their rights and border-related issues. Despite facing various challenges, these journalists contribute significantly to public awareness and the safeguarding of national interests.

He further stated that the positive news and messages disseminated through cross-border media help foster mutual understanding and cooperation among communities living in the border areas of both countries, making daily interactions smoother and more harmonious.

Minister Yadav also extended his best wishes for the success of the conference, expressing confidence that such initiatives would further strengthen bilateral relations and enhance collaboration between Nepal and India along their shared border.
