Meeting Between Minister Kharel and MP Shrestha Discusses Elections and Development
Kathmandu: Communication and Information Technology Minister Jagdish Kharel met with Bagmati Province lawmaker Rameshwar Shrestha. The meeting took place on Thursday at Shrestha’s residence in Tikathali, Mahalaxmi Municipality, Lalitpur.
According to Minister Kharel, they discussed current issues including the upcoming elections and development projects.
They also talked about strengthening coordination and cooperation between the federal, provincial, and local levels. An understanding was reached to make development projects more effective and fulfill the aspirations of the people.
Minister Kharel has recently been holding both unilateral and multilateral meetings with leaders of major political parties to create a conducive environment for the elections. He has also been conducting phased discussions with the provincial chief minister and various ministers on current issues and development projects.
The government has made all necessary preparations to ensure the success of the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21. Political parties have also intensified their preparations and election-related activities.
