Mayor of Dharan Hark Sampang Visits Baluwatar but Could Not Meet PM

Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Harka Sampang visited the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar on Sunday around 7 a.m. to request the position of Home Minister.

However, he could not meet Prime Minister Sushila Karki, as she has adopted a policy of not meeting individuals without prior appointments.

Prime Minister Karki has decided to appoint Advocate Om Prakash Aryal as the Home and Law Minister. Earlier, she had finalized Rameshwar Khanal as Finance Minister and Kulman Ghising as Energy Minister.

However, Aryal’s nomination has been rejected by the Sudan Gurung group, which has issued a warning against the Prime Minister for unilateral decisions.
