"If You Want to Earn, Do Business, Not Politics": Mayor Gopi Hamal

Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Gopal (Gopi) Hamal has stated that politics should be a medium for public service rather than personal gain.
Speaking at a recent event, Mayor Hamal emphasized, "Politics is for the country; if you want to work for yourself, do business."
He further remarked that those driven by the desire to accumulate wealth should stay away from politics and focus on entrepreneurship instead, maintaining that self-interest has no place in public leadership.
