Massive Public Mobilization by CPN (UML) Across 753 Local Levels
Kathmandu. The CPN (UML) is set to organize public demonstrations in all 753 local levels today as part of its public mobilization program.
According to Rajendra Gautam, the chief of the party's Publicity and Publication Department, the UML decided to conduct public mobilization across the country against the regressive conspiracy on Tuesday, which includes public demonstration programs at the ward, local level (Palika), district, and national levels.
He informed that ward gatherings have already been completed in all 6,743 wards across the country on the 22nd. In these gatherings, party workers were made clear on the political developments after Bhadra 24 (September 9), the unconstitutional dissolution of the parliament, and the future path of the UML.
In today's program, some local levels are demonstrating UML's strength through motorcycle rallies, while others are holding programs with slogans and marches at the local level centers.
According to Gautam, the party center has decided on slogans to 'awaken the people' for today's program, and the UML has instructed its leaders to make the demonstration grand by ensuring every participant joins the public demonstration with the UML flag, holding the demonstration in densely populated areas, concluding the public demonstration with a short corner meeting, and clarifying the current political situation in that meeting.
The UML has stated that today's public demonstration will also serve as a promotional event for the District-level general assembly on Kartik 29 (November 15), the public demonstration in Kathmandu on Mangsir 6 (November 22), and the upcoming General Convention.
