Ashika Tamang Has No Relation to the Party: CPN (Maoist)
The CPN (Maoist) recently issued a press release clarifying that the party has no relation of any kind with upcoming election candidate Ashika Tamang.
The statement, signed by Party Office Secretary Dipak, claims that various reports are being circulated linking Tamang’s name to the party with the intent of spreading confusion against their policy of boycotting the election.
According to the statement, the party's serious attention has been drawn to the dissemination of untruthful and misleading news, alleging that some chaotic individuals misused the party's letterhead to demand money from Tamang.
The statement emphasizes that their party, which stands against the parliamentary system and aims to seize state power through armed rebellion, has not requested financial support from any candidate.
Furthermore, a warning was issued that anyone obstructing the struggle of the party and the proletariat will face action, and media personnel have been requested to broadcast news only after verifying the facts.
